Quick Tour

Brian Degenstein

A quick tour of what you can expect, what not to expect and a little help getting around.

What you can expect

I like to think of this site as a place people can go to learn about new experiences, read something that will spark their creativity and ultimately, ignite inspiration.

There are endless technology, design and food -centric blogs out there. I read a lot of them on a regular basis. But most people's interests, like mine, extend beyond just one area. The articles I'll be posting will span across a wide range of topics - from technology and design, to food and running. These topics won't always go together, and that's the point. Looking for an awesome restaurant to go to this weekend? Need some advice on what running shoes to buy? Want an awesome iPhone app to help you be more productive? You've come to the right place.

My writing style can be best described as real, with a dash of humor and a pinch of sarcasm. I write like I talk. Ultimately, that's what this site is about. It's about having fun and honest communication between me and my readers.

What not to expect

The latest news stories or product launches the day they're announced. Technology moves at a lightning pace. Regurgitating news and announcements from other sites isn't very useful.

An elaborate review on a restaurant experience spanning pages and pages talking about every finite detail. We're all crunched for time so I won't bore you with details I don't find helpful.

Navigation

Along the top are links to each of the topics I write about, for the most part. The intent is for quick, easy access to the collection of articles on that specific topic. Looking for all the articles about running? Click (or tap) the 'Run' link. Or, use the search option on the far right.
